Scandia RV & Mobile Park

This is a very nice park and one of the few public (non-membership) parks left in this area. There are lots of trees and few spaces where you can get satellite TV but in the heat of the Summer the trees can be a good thing. Cable TV is available if necessary. We did not use any facilities and I am not sure where they might be but my guess is they are over in the mobile home half of the park. The 2 are separate and the RV side feels like an RV park and not just muddled in with some park models. This is our second stay and the pricing is reasonable and the office staff very helpful. We came in New Years day when they said the office would be closed. However, they were there when we arrived and moved us to a different site when we said we wanted to get satellite TV.

Nice, small park close to town and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Sites near the edge of the park are not private though, as you are practically in the Wendy's parking lot next door, with no fence in between. Bathrooms/showers clean, laundry $1.25. Bit expensive at 50/night

Stayed here based on high ratings from Good Sam. Very disappointed - some of the spaces are very tight, parts of the road are bad, lots of road noise, bathrooms functional but uninviting, to put it mildly.

| Narrow sites, traffic noise

Cute park with well established trees for shade. Sites are narrow working better for RV/trailers with no slides. We squeezed our 30' trailer with a single slide on drivers side in. Neighbor's awning nearly touches our slide. Sprinklers at night got our big mat wet that we had out our door. Ran a fan at night to block traffic noise. While a little expensive it is the cheapest option I could find available.

This was self service from start to finish, (no reservation) didn t talk to anyone. Our site was ample, wifi good, and cable tv good. The older part of this park is permanent mobiles and RVs, not so nice. But our overnight site was fine. Road noise a bit since it s directly on the business route of 97 south. Roads have bike lanes and these worked great for us.

Host was not helpful. Assigned a site with absolutely NO space. Expected to setup a table on the back side of the RV. At $64 per night with NO refund options we were stuck. Bad way to start a long trip.
