Old and run down. The bathrooms are from a horror movie, dark and wholes in the walls and floor
Spot C10 by the playground is great. Awesome jumpy thing and good playground. Water sports were great for kids. Lake is nice. Dogs had a great time in water. Went on 2.54 intermediate orange trail in the Nordic trail system. $11 parking pass for day. Campground is quiet though and people are very nice. Staff is very nice. Military discount. NEGATIVE NOTES: No sewer hook up. Very hilly and spread out. Road in campground is bad, with last part simply crushed gravel. Closed access to the lake for the Ski show, which was a huge negative, because kids could not play on toys during prime time Sat evening. Slightly aggravating back into sewer dump, but otherwise fine. People drove too fast in the golf carts. The 'trail' in the woods in NOT a shortcut and is actually slightly technical with amount of rocks and roots. Lots of little spurs with little direction to head. Porti potties were nasty and not enough. Showers were 'OK', but definitely could have been better given no sewer hookup. Ice cream expensive (but good). Camp store and snack shack very unorganized. Very little parking by the lake.
Lots of new improvements- new paved road, new dump site, 2 new blow up jumping pads. Nice quiet campground. Snack shack has a nice menu and beach/lake is clean.
Campground rental sites Major fail: not having full hook ups is the biggest flaw. Muddy: patches of grass everywhere, so it makes it very messy when it rains Spaces: nice sizes, so you don't feel squished next to other RVs. The shop is cute. Some stuff is decently priced, but for essentials, come prepared or pay a lot. It is family friendly for the most part. Just overall we have been to much nicer places for cheaper. Not the biggest fan.
