| Run down and expensive

By user-5276884... on 2017-10-23.

$60+ usually gets you a nice clean park with advertised amenities. Here the buildings are run down, wi-fi spotty and no cable TV. On the positive...close to town = within walking distance.

| Closest spot to downtown Cannon Beach

We stay here a couple of times a year. The park is very basic. What I enjoy is that tent campers are mingling with small rig campers and a few bigger rig campers. It’s wooded and there are resident bunnies to visit. Sites can be pretty unlevel so beware of that. We typically don’t use shower facilities but they appear to be clean. You are paying for the excellent location. Just a few minutes from downtown Cannon Beach and from two beaches. Also very close to Ecola State Park. One caution. If you want wifi, try to get a spot close to the store. Otherwise...not so much.

| Not what it used to be!

We've been coming here for years. Tented, trailer, now RV. This is not an RV place (full hookups the usually elect.,sewer, cable, wifi) for $64.00 per night. No cable explanation they kept getting ripped out, so they stop having it. All paperwork and advertising still says they have it. Wifi you can only guess if you want to fallow the bouncing signal it's there. They say they have and that's it, they won't say any more. Great to tent in the dry season. Ask if the mud is gone or if there are puddles anywhere if yes stay away. Very very close to town. Only one bathroom shower building on site. It's very old log cabin old. It does have an out door dish washing station. Garbage and recycling is all at this building. They say they have a store, relaxation spa, espresso bar. NO never open. They don't have anyone to run it. There is a beautiful event lodge that is closed and says no trespassing signs all around it. I'm sure it's a pretty penny to rent but great place for small weddings, not sure where you would park though. The horse thing I don't know anything about. All in all if you tent or small trailer it's great. Just to expensive you are paying to be close to town. In all the years since the 1990's it has really gone down hill. I hope someone comes in and makes it nice again.
