1.5 hours to canyon Very friendly staff Clean facilities Train passes often but doesn't blow whistle so we weren't bothered by it at all Great star gazing
Good sized gravel pull thru spots. If your RV has good insulation you won't even hear the train. Friendly host, will come back again.
There is a train track close, but I did not find it that noisy in the trailer. The staff is nice and helpful and the park is well kept. Good for an overnight stay.
48$ for one night, four persons, electricity and water only.
This campsite is near the railstation where every few hours a very long train passes. Never is written that the train passes by often.
This campground served it's purpose, which was a place to stay overnight after a 360 mile drive from SoCal. The trees hadn't started budding yet, so it looked very drab. There are two train tracks, one west bound and one east bound right next to the campground so there were always trains running through. The ladies in the office were very friendly and made us feel welcome.
Stayed ther in June, pool was so dirty from the birds, you couldn't sit on the side of pool. WE TOLD THEM DID NOTHING there was also bird doodo on picnic tables. Locals even use laundry. Trains all night , KOA gives it almost 5 stars No way
