This site is only $15/night and offers besufoful scenery of the Fox River. Catch and release. About 20 or so sites with electric. Vault toilets. And the best part... Their drinking water source is a natural spring that runs down a pipe and into your glass.
Well maintained small park adjacent to the Fox River. Great for a stop along the Hwy M28 enroute to or from Pictured Rocks in either Grand Marais or Munising. First come, first served. Most sites are electric only. No water and sewer hook-ups. Outhouses only. No showers. There is fresh water from a natural spring which is also well maintained. Cash or check only. Park is about 6 miles from the Seney National Wildlife Refuge which is a hidden treasure and worth a visit.
The park is off the hwy and not by a railroad track. Only offers electric and has a nice artesian well. The spots are level, some with grass others gravel. There are toilets, but we didn't use them. Price was $15.
