This is the nicest place to stay in Mulege. The resort is 5 aces with 7 RV spots with full hook ups, a hotel, pool, bar, restaurant, cozy outside seating in the court yard and more! Free WiFi at the restaurant/hotel area so you can sit outside by the pool while checking your email. Staff is very accomodating, drinks are generously "stiff" and the meal portions are big. The place is clean, easy access into town. There is also an airport next door and many guests fly in on their private planes. The hotel and restaurant is very charming with all kinds of cool art work and old Mexico architecture. We checked out the other hotels and RV parks in the area. They have suffered the effects of several major hurricanes over the last 5 years and have not been well repaired. Hotel Serenidad is clean, affordable ($250 pesos = $19 for 2 people). They also offer hot showers, full hook up and a place to park your toad. I'd recommend this place highly and if you get a chance, sit and chat with the owner, Don Johnson. A little slice of Heaven along Hwy 1.
