Very nice park
By user-6621325... on 2017-10-23.
This is a wonderful park. With a senior discount we paid $12 for a river view pull through spot. They have a laundry and showers that are old but appear clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I reserve those for amazing places. However if I pass through this area I would gladly stay here again.

Stayed 2018-05-19 to 2018-05-21
Came to this park by sheer luck. We stayed 2 nights even though we didn't have a boat or a fishing license to use. Park is clean, sites fairly level and it is quiet. Watching the barges and boats on the river was a plus.

Clean, well kept. Level pads. Great views of river & wildlife. Only problem was the ants! Be sure to bring ant killer! Staff were fantastic! Helpful in every way!

Great Corp of Engineer campground
By user-4560868... on 2019-08-09.
We came across this campground when we made a hurricane run from Michael. We really liked this park so much that we plan on returning for a longer stay sometime in the future. The sites are large and level with plenty of room to spread out. Some of the sites are right on the tombigbee river with a great view of the river. The showers need some updating but appeared to be clean. We were only there for 2 nights so I did not use them. There are plenty of short hiking trail and a boat launch. We will return to this park soon. I took away one star for the bathrooms.
