This is the best campground in Seward if you are looking for a great view of Resurrection Bay and the surrounding mountains. It's a great place to watch the boats/cruise ships come and go. As for the campground itself, it's pretty typical of campgrounds in Alaska. Basically, it's a parking lot. We did not stay in the section with the electricity and water, so our cost was only $15. Some sites are a little tight, some are huge. Make sure you check the entire park before deciding on a site. Our site was very level. We did not have a picnic table, but did have a firewring. We were on the hill and could see the bay perfectly even though there were two rows of campsites below us. The campground was very quiet despite the fact that most of the sites in our area were full. The city comes through and makes sure trash, tree limbs, etc. are picked up. Also, if you decide you want to change sites after you've paid, all you have to do is move, provided you registered with your license number. We would definitely stay here if we came to Seward again.

We stayed 2 nights. First without water and electricity $20.00 and 2nd incl. $40.00. (RV 5 pers.) With mountains and setting at Resurrection Bay campground is great. Small places, restrooms okay, showers $ 2.00 (bills no coins)

| Nice Campground

All gravel spots, mostly level but low in the front so will need to raise front end of RV four or five inches, tight spots laid out with parking lot paint, probably 20 feet total width, tight for a forty foot RV but doable, we had plenty of water pressure and good 50 amp electricity, wifi was useless as there are probably seven or eight hundred parking spots and everyone must of been on the free wifi, good cell phone with ATT, you can have a fire if you have your own fire pit that sets off the ground, or use the community fire pits out in front of all the campsites near the waterfront. No sewer hookup but dump station 1/4 mile away for five bucks. All in all a pretty nice campground with beautiful scenery and convenient to shops and food, but overpriced in my opinion.

| Huge Parking Lots

Typical Alaskan gravel Campground, but a great view of the bay. These Campground s are run by the city and are huge. There must be 500 campsites. And they stay full. They are first come, first served and must be paid for at kiosks located throughout the parks. In general, sites with no services are $20 and with Water and Electric are $40. No sewer, but there is a dump station. Showers are $2 for 10 minutes, with tokens from machines in the restrooms. Stayed 5 days seeing Seward and waiting on a package. Would stay again
