We have stayed here twice in the past year for work. This park is great! The office staff is very sweet and accommodating. Bathhouse restrooms and laundry room are the nicest I have used at any park. Laundry room is nice and cool and also includes exercise equipment that I use regularly, with a tv/satellite. Very clean. Pool is awesome for the kids with the deepest depth at 4ft 6in. Everyone is friendly and we have met several families with children who are staying here. All of the RVs here are new or in great shape. Some may be long term but are very well kept and neat. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Park is a 10 really clean. space is good. water pressure good. electric good. parking for 2 cars in most sites. Good Sam discounts. blacktop road and gravel sites. This is one of the better parks we have stayed in. Park 9.5 rating in Good Sam directory. Laundry meeting rooms. The managers are Texas friendly folks
Was a nice park management nice but could be curt if caught at the wrong time. Wifi had a weekly limit and even though pets allowed they do have a breed restrictions.
This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. They've got laundry, propane available for sale (at a good price), RV wash and mechanics available for whatever you may need. We arrived the day after a tornado came through the area, and our neighbor said or spot was under water that morning. Only the grass showed evidence of that happening. When walking around the park, it was nice and level and the "long termers" didn't look like long termers, which made the stay more enjoyable. They have a hall that can be reserved at no cost to the patrons of the park. They have an outdoor BBQ and entertainment area (next to the pool) ..... VERY homey and nice. We will definitely be staying here the next time we're in town.
WiFi was nonexistent for us. Maybe we were in the wrong spot, or maybe their WiFi was down, I don't know, but this won't detour us from coming back.
Shady Creek is a great little park. It is very clean and the people who run it are extremely helpful and courteous.
Visiting family in Plano. The Dallas, Plano, Frisco area is very limited when it comes to rv parks. Shady creek is pretty nice but does have it’s shortcomings. A lot of full timers with dogs but very clean. Spaces are close, all back in, but manageable. Excellent hookups. Very friendly staff who guide you to your space. WiFi is extremely difficult to connect to or stay connected and No streaming. No cable but plenty antenna channels. The cost is very high considering what’s offered. Nothing extra really. $300 a week and “you” pay electricity. They claim offering Good Sam, AARP and other discounts but then you don’t get it. I guess discounts only apply to daily rates. Being that your options are limited and the place is jam packed, they can charge just about anything. I’m not slamming the place. It’s probably the best in the area of limited locations or choices but the cost is not indicative of what you get. Would have liked to stay longer but was too costly.
Very nice place. Pool was nice after a long day of driving. Grounds very well kept. Escorted to site and offered to guide back. Lots of rules but that s what keeps it nice. Only one night stay people in park very friendly and staff also. I feel it s overpriced but not much to choose from in the area. We would stay again.
I while I was waiting for my new Texas home to close escrow, I stayed here for several weeks. This park is exceptional and has all the comforts you would need. The laundry center was huge and clean. Restrooms and showers were also clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend you check them out
