Nice park, spacious level sites. Steep incline going to rv sites. Good trails, clean facilities, laundry. Stayed mid-September, hot, no shade at pull thru sites, buggy, Nats and no-see-ms.
| Very Clean
This was one clean state park. The landscape was well kept and pretty. The bathrooms and shower rooms were very clean and they would even sweep the bugs off of the lighting area during the day. There is no pool, miniature golf or things like that. After all this is a state park. You can fish, swim or tube in the river, hike (20 miles of trails) or visit the visitor center (great for kids). We had a great time and plan on coming back soon.
| Wrong GPS location
GPS location took us down narrow gravel road to a different campground (I clicked on directions) If you type in the directions 350 Daughter of Stars etc it works just fine and the is a big State Park sign on 340. We called to see if they were open and got price $35. We arrived after 6:30 pm and self registration says $40 for an RV. Nice and clean park.
