Reviews for Sherwood Forest Camping & RV Park

| Wonderful when empty

We stayed two nights on our way West. The campground was pretty empty which really enhanced the experience. It would be different if it was full. We had a pull through for our 38 foot travel trailer. Gravel site and easy to level. Wifi was spotty. Would stay here again in the off season. Close to attractions.

This was a nice place to stay. It is comparable to staying at the Koa which is close by as well but you don't get the annoying train noise. It is also a little closer to town so you can leave the car and walk to town if you like. They are also good at making suggestions for things to do. The only thing that would make it better is if the upper sites were a little more roomy. However for being a tourist spot they are a decent size.

Quiet and on the edge of town.

Stayed here in the off-season. Very quiet, but yet we were given a site up the hill and next to maintenance pole buildings.Grounds maintenance equipment parked all over, including in the site next to ours. Small level gravel site. Staff was friendly and courteous. Bathrooms were okay, but at 9:00 AM still hadn't been cleaned. Way over priced.
