Reviews for Sherwood Forest RV Resort

| Nothing special

This is an Encore property, which means not very good customer service. Sites are grass and dirt, no picnic table, no response when we asked for one. Wifi is extra, services are only ok. All in all not worth the high price.

| Close to Disney World

The only thing I found pleasing about this RV Park was, the staff was friendly, and it was close to Disney World. The laundry rooms were awful. The sites were grass and not worth the money. They do have some concrete sites for higher money, but still not worth it. No trees that are set for shade. Seems very run down and the sign is hard to see due to being very faded. They do you have Wi-Fi but it is not free. The cable does work good; however. They do have security all night.

| Free Cable (HA HA)

Stayed for 6 days in January 2018, they informed me the cable was free, probably because it does not work. WIFI only at the clubhouse and if it was any slower it was going backwards. Laundry room 4 washers 6 dryers. $2.00 to $5.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. My site was on an angle downwards to the left. Main advantage it is walking distance to the main drag. IHOP, Perkins, Walgreens and many other restaurants, and tourist traps. I would stay again because it is only a block from camping world and I need to have some warranty work done.

| Good location, bad park

By user-6620284... on 2018-03-14.

Rude lady on the phone when I called with a question. We arrived and our site was extremely tight for our 42 foot fifth wheel and we had a big tree navigate. Luckily my husband is a good driver but it was very stressful. Site was not level and the grass was very high and messy. For the price you pay to stay here I at least expect for the grass to be cut. Wouldn’t stay here again. Way overpriced, messy park, and rude staff.

| Awful Mess

Had reservations for a week at this park. We drove in to our "site", turned around and drove out! Got a full refund, so this must happen a lot. We have a 40 ft fifth wheel that barely fit on our pull-through strip of grass. The neighbor's sewer and electrical box would have been under our awning. It was an awful unmowed narrow site. I immediately got on phone to find something else. Luckily, the Encore operator was good enough to look for us a spot. We lucked out and were able to go straight to another RV park. Do not go here if it has been raining. You will get stuck and pay for your own tow.

| Convenient location

I stayed here because it was close to a conference I was attending. I would say it is 3 stars short of a resort for resort prices. The dog park was there, where it took longer to get to, but unimpressive even to my dog. The site was adequate and level. The cement pad had suffered some abuse and was broken. The utilities were fine. I never used the Internet or cable. It is a good location and I appreciated it being somewhat gated. Our conference is in the same location next April so I will probably return but will definitely consider staying further out at less cost. I stayed on a pull thru 30amp site with a concrete pad.
