This is the third time I have stayed here. I read it before because the staff is very helpful and nice. john is a nice guy. a good host. this place would be a 5 if it had a pool and a jacuzzi. Bathroom and grounds always clean.bathroom and grounds always clean. I will continue to stay here when I travel through town.

| Excellent City RV-Park

RV-park next to Eureka, next to the Hwy but the Hwy is not disturbing, quite during the night. Paved routes, paved sites, lawn between sites, young growing trees in the park. Tiled clean, modern and well maintained sanitaries.

| Host is awful

We stayed here one night and were made to feel like vagrants by the elderly female host on duty. As soon as she ran our credit card and the payment went through she started inferring we were going to let our "friends" shower at the site. It got worse from there and had we not already paid, we would have left. We are a middle aged couple on vacation- I don't think we let off a real party vibe but apparently everyone is a suspect.

| A bit noisy because of hwy 101

Clean facility sitting next to highway 101. WiFi is free but very flaky.

Although not a "destination park" with lots of activities, pool, etc., Shoreline is easily accessible, and within an easy drive of local attractions. It features clean restrooms and laundry, new picnic tables, asphalt pads surrounded by grass and small trees, and great 50A service. The locations of the hookups and protective posts make rig placement on the pad a bit tricky, but the drive-through sites are LONG, so there were options. All staff we met were flexible, friendly and helpful. Considering how new everything is, I suppose the price is reasonable. They were generous with finding a discount to fit our situation and memberships.

Nice level paved sites, long pull throughs with good power and clean. One thing to watch for is their advertising with offers multi nights discount and % discounts for several difference travel programs & military service. In all the one night cost seems over priced for what you get 42.50 then your % discount. Plus California tax.

| Best stay in a convenient location

The staff was great. I accidentally booked my stay at their other location and came in late. I pulled in using their green cone system. They called me in the morning and assured me that they would transfer my reservation to the Shoreline location. There's a great place to go for walks and close to the freeway to Arcata. Also close to Target which was nice to get groceries. Bathrooms are clean, showers were clean and laundry facilities were great. Great pull through and clean. Hookups in great spots for easy use. This was my first RV park to stay in after I bought my trailer and I'm so glad it was this place. Definitely coming back next time!

| Nice park but highway noise

Nice, well-kept park. Manager went out of his way to help us. Great service. Only downer was being right next to highway, so a bit noisy at night.

Very convenient as a coastal route stop and great walking in the bay as well as Target without using a car. Nicely laid out and tidy.

| Ok park but boarders the bike trail and was warned by neighbor to be sure to lock everything up at night. Is interesting that all the bums have nice bicycles!

The pros: Shoreline seemed to be clean and well kept. We got a slight discount since the cable was out. Nice paved pull through site. Located along a new lookIng walkIng path that follows the water front. The cons: My wife took our dog out in the morning and noticed our BBQ grill was missing. I took a quick walk around the park and found a person heading down the bike path with my grill. Luckily, I got it back without incident. We also took a walk down the walking path and really liked it until we hit the first homeless encampment. There were a few big unleashed dogs so we didn t feel comfortable walking our dog past the unleashed dogs and had to turn around. We also visited the downtown area which has many nicely fixed up Victorian houses. Unfortunately, there were many homeless laying around or yelling things at us when we tried to walk around.
