Reviews for Shorewood RV Park

| Nice October Stay

By user-5790342... on 2017-10-23.

While more trailer park than RV park, it's clean, well equiped, and staffed with friendly people. We were in B8 overlooking the beach tucked between two vacation park trailers. Beach access is excellent. Gravel roads in park. 50 amp power, sewer, water, and cable TV with lots of channels. If your in a big rig arrive and depart using 3rd Ave because 2nd Ave can be a little tight. I work from the road so an Internet connection is critical. The park's WiFi was good, but not great because the performance would dip periodically during the day. I was also getting three bars of 4G with Verizon. I'd recommend the place to others.

| OK campsite

As another reviewer has said it is more trailer park than campsite. Sites are tight to get into so you best not have a big rig and check the site closely we picked up MANY nails and old pieces of wire. It looks like they just rebuilt the fence but still they should have cleaned up better. The campgrounds are clean with good TV and WIFI if you can get the passcode. Really do not act like they want you to have it. Good beach access. $39 for the night

Thank you John an Leann. The park was beautiful. John and Leann were so nice and helpful. Even though the managers were rude on the phone the assistant managers were very helpful and made our trip worth while... Thank god for understanding an helpful youngsters... The ocean was beautiful...

| Manager Nightmare

WE stayed at the shorewood rv park. The New Manager was so rude and used the f word. Although the park was beautiful, I found her to be so offensive that I won't be returning ....

| Great Park!

Lovely park. Clean and level. Like most older Parks it was built probably 50 years ago, but the owners have updated with 50 amp and good wi-fi. Some sites are smaller than others. Definitely not a cookie-cutter design, but very nice with lots of shade trees. When we made our reservation, we were asked about slides so they would make sure we were assigned a site with plenty of room. Nice beach and great access to water.

| Stormy Weekend

By anonymous-user on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-11-12 to 2015-11-13

There was a storm predicted all week and we came in the middle of it. Ocean was quite turbulent and close to the rocks. We didn't get much beach time due to the weather. Park was quiet, its off the high way so there is no noise from the traffic. Nicely maintained Park. We will book again!!!

| Beach is worth a million words

At first glance we were not sure how we would like this RV resort. The spaces are very close together and many are permanent residents. However the beach is fabulous and you can't get any closer. It is just steps away from our 5th wheel. A big bonus on the Oregon coast. The camp hosts are very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We camped at Shorewood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

| Very Welcoming

This is a nice quiet park right on the beach. Owners are super nice and accommodating. Stayed here 3 nights in a fifth-wheel.

| Nice, with a couple of spots literally at the edge of the beach, but WAY too pricey for the amenities.

The site that we stayed in was right at the Rock retaining wall looking out over the beach and the ocean. Absolutely a spectacular view, but the price including tax was almost $90 per night. There are no laundry facilities, there is no store, and the setting just does not justify those rates. The office staff was very very friendly and helpful, and the park was kept clean. It's just the pricing.

| Site B-8 is the one you want!

By user-6407979... on 2018-07-06. Stayed 2018-06-22 to 2018-06-23

Shorewood is a lovely older park with great beach access. This was our first time there will be back for site B-8. It is literally fronting the beach - beautiful. It is gated and the staff are great. It is a bit spendy but given the small community patio on the beach cliff, the private beach access, and the close proximity to town, I can understand why. One thing to note is they do not accept anyone after dark so plan to get to the park by dusk.

| Great for my first time

The camp host were wonderful from start to finish. When I booked, they had one site next to the beach which was pricey. I mentioned that and they moved me two rows in for about 1/2 the cost. So, this place does have reasonable rates. Quite a few permanent units mixed with the temps, and the sound of the ocean could be heard even with a rather full park. The WiFi was the fastest and not the best for streaming, but it worked for me and I came here to work by the beach. I have had bad luck getting ATT cell service staying I. Rockaway in the past and a hotel, but the cell signal was good, especially if you use a hotspot.

Great park on the beach, which is uncrowded. Controlled access to park so no security concerns. 4 miles to Garibaldi and 11 miles to Tillamook. No check ins after sunset.
