This place, with the pool, the wonderful trails, ponds (of pupfish)..is a great place to stay.

Very friendly staff. Small campground - a little oasis. And there is a free thermal pool. Enjoyed the stay.

This place is lovely. Clean, shady, grassy! Nice tent area, large pull through lots. Clean bathrooms.

We liked this place. Full hookups, we paid $35/nite. Clean bathrooms. In among some trees. But the biggest surprise was right across the street - a very new nature park, designed by (I think) UC Davis for the protection of a rare vole and some pupfish. It is an exquisite little park, completely unknown, with four little ponds and a spring-fed stream. It is truly beautiful! The little town of Shoshone is beyond quaint. Gas is $5/g but nothing else for miles. The rv park also has a nice library / community room with a zillion books. In particular, it has a significant collection of Brittanica 'year' books from 1952 to 1980 or so. I read the whole history of the cold War and space program; it was terrific. Downsides: right on the 'main' road, which does have some nighttime truck traffic. Dang little courtesy lights at every spot were blinding all night, get less bright bulbs people!

Complicated layout. Dirt and gravel difficult to maneuver our 40 to the correct modified pull through. Pleasant attendant.

Cute place out of the Death Valley. We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly owner/staff, clean facilities (toilets, sope, paper towel, hot shower), not much noise from the street, shadow by palm/trees, nice and warm pool, meeting place/rest area with a fire place, library, laundry (2$), wifi, ... A bit time is needed for the registration.
