Great pull thru full hookup sites available, the park is convenient to attractions, restaurants and stores. When camping you also get admittance into Silver Springs, i highly recommend the glass bottom boat tour, the water is crystal clear. Wildlife can be seen in both parks.
Great campsites and amazing park.
Great park! We pulled in to stop for the day so we could do the glass bottom boat and we decided to stay the night. Big sites with lots of shade. They have nice hiking trails, clean bathrooms and friendly staff. We will be back. Please be aware of the ticks....check and protect.
Stayed 5 nights in a Class A coach with tow vehicle. Pads are huge, level and solid. Each has a fire ring and BBQ grill. The sites are located a good distance apart giving one a sense of privacy. Clean restrooms and shower house. If we had one complaint it would be the low water pressure.
It was a great over night stay, we stayed in a pull through site. The bath houses were clean over all the park was nice. I had read on line that there are monkeys in the area so we didn't walk on any trails . We did go on a glass bottom boat ride on the springs water , really enjoyed that.
This place it typical of most Florida State Parks. Very clean, quiet, super large sites, good separation between sites. Partially shaded sites, very level. Bathrooms are large, modern and clean but not air conditioned. Playground for kids is small but nice and modern and is in a well shaded spot. You get free admission to Silver Springs with your campsite tag. You only have to pay for the glass bottom boat ride, well worth the 8 to 10 bucks. Campground is close to wallmart, restaurants, and ice cream shops, all within a few miles. I will definitely return here.
Full pull thru sites and cabins. Everything you need. Be sure to arrive befor 5:00-5:30. They lock the gate. Be sure to make reserves via ReserveAmerica.com. We will return again.
