| Nice Long Term Campground

By user-5135285... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-06-10 to 2017-08-08

We stumbled on this campground when looking for a long term space for work. They cater to long term residents, and don't allow children. We saw very few overnight campers, and the owner told us that next season they will be long term only from April to October. They do not have bathrooms or wi-fi (you can have cable and wi-go hooked up at your own expense), but they are very quiet and have a beautiful fishing lake. The owner is on site and addresses any issues immediately. She has a zero tolerance policy for rule breakers, which results in a very quiet campground. It's also very dark, so you can actually see the stars! They close down at 8 pm, so there aren't campers coming and going late at night. Wonderful place for long term stays. People wanting to camp overnight, don't bother. They generally won't let you in. And they are usually full spring through fall. We're definitely going back if we're ever in the area.
