Reviews for Singing Hills Campground

| Terrific place

By user-5240120... on 2017-10-23.

We've stayed there three times either coming or going north from Chattanooga, Tn. It's a beautiful and peaceful area with truly gracious owners who care about their customers. If you have a problem, the owner will do everything in his power to fix it. No frills, but we will keep stoping by when we are close

| Clean, friendly

Was quiet, level pull through spots. Close to Mammoth Cave.

| Friendly Clean Quiet Affordable

Very friendly and accommodating owners. Nice catch and release pond with monster fish. Kids get certificate for catching fish. Bathrooms very clean and kept up. Very affordable compared to nearby parks. Caves and stores a couple miles away. Walmart 15min. Water/electric are standard with big rig friendly full hookup sites. Owners don't bug you, but are very friendly and helpful with lots of local info. Owners offer free fishing gear, movies, books, balls, etc. Swings and basketball hoop. Spots are a little tight. Visitors are cave tourists from all over.

| Awesome!!!

Campground is definitely a breath of fresh air. Quaint, extremely clean and the most congenial hosts ever!! Mr. Elon and Miss Beth made sure everybody's needs were met. Balls, books, and fishing poles were available if our grandson's wanted to use them. We definitely will return. And, yes Miss Beth, the crab apples are sweeter after the first frost...?????

My husband and I stayed here last weekend. We wanted a campground that was close to mammoth cave & far enough away from the main roads for some peace and quiet. I had requested a site on the pond since we do love to fish. Unfortunately the weather has been very hot the past week. This caused the pond to get quite stagnant, smelly and there were many dead fish on the shore. The owner was aware of the situation and was working on a solution. He constructed a large fountain and installed it in the center of the pond, and cleaned out the dead fish.... this definitely seemed to help, by the morning the water was clearer and the fish seemed happy. The site was on the smallish size but relatively level with a little gravel and the rest manicured lawn. Once we were all set up it was quite cozy. Not many bugs/mosquitoes, clean & quiet. The only drawback was the fire pit was pretty close to the trailer, so it was either a campfire or open the awning, not both. We chose the awning. Bathhouse was very clean & the dump station was easily accessible. The owners are terrific! All in all, a great stay.... I definitely would recommend this campground while visiting the caves!

Price was very resonable. The managers where very friendly and helpful great people. The location was very nice with the pond and trees. Lots where not very level but with a little bit of work they where fine.

| Loved it!

By user-5797995... on 2017-10-23.

The owners are super nice! They have DVDs you can borrow for free. Pull through sites. We have a 38ft 5th wheel we fit fine with room to spare. Sites are a little close together but there is a huge field the kids can play in, a pond, horse shoes, volley ball net, swings, etc. Super close to caves and tourist stuff, but quiet and out of the way which we prefer. We would stay here again if in the area.

Stayed two days on our way back North. Very friendly owners, many pull thru sites, clean restrooms and showers. We sat with a little pond at our back window. 35' 5th wheel

| Good stop

Great park friendly people, roads are a little tight on some turns. Not all sites have sewer and the dump station was full! (Quick open and fast close, not too messy). Had to drive around with some fancy turns to find an open site with a sewer.

Stayed one night, close to Mammoth caves, family owned, small, quiet. Didn't use the bath house, so can't rate that, but we enjoyed the overnight stay. Got to borrow a DVD from office at no cost - pleasant treat! Shopped nearby Amish store in Cub Run. Worth the stop, but make note with motorhomes to pull into 'truck delivery' area- NOT normal parking area. You will not fit, and will have to back out onto the 2 lane fast moving road! Also, visit the Amish owned hardware store in town. All friendly folks. John & Paula, Colorado

Nice little campground just outside the town of Cave City and only 15 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park. We stayed three nights in early April, had site 37 which is a huge pull-thru, the biggest one I’ve every stayed in (no one around you). But most of the other sites were average in size. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. All sites are crushed stone and ours was not that level, but manageable. All sites have a fire ring and picnic table. The FHU’s were good. We had a decent T-Mobile signal with data too. Wi-Fi in the park was good. They have a small pond with a catch-and-release policy. It was quite busy while we were there too. A nice family park. BTW, if you’re planning to take a tour in Mammoth Cave NP, go online now and buy your tickets! I would stay again.

Nice family campground. Owners very helpful and accommodating. Not all sites are large but ours met our needs, we only slept there. Most days spent in caves. Asked for one night with possible second, wound up spending 3 nights. Would come back again if in the area.

Great little park. Just 2.5 miles off Interstate 65, clean park and super staff. I wish I could rate 4.5. The only draw back for me was that the sites are not very level.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve been to. Extremely clean facilities, older but very well maintained . The owner was super gave lots of great recommendations, had a few jokes was a very relaxing and quite place to camp. Would recommend this campground to ALL. We travel in a 36’ class A with a toad, nice level spot plenty of room. W/S/E 50amp. I’d give it more star if I could If the owner forgets to tell ya, make sure you go to the “Chasers” fudge store I guarantee you will leave with some fudge.

This is an older campground, but very well maintained with good size sites & offers Passport America discounts. It was nicer than anything else we saw in the area during our stay & is close to Mammouth National Park. We have a 35’ fifth wheel & one ton pickup. When we made reservations, they did not have a 50 amp site so we agreed to take a 30 amp site. They did not tell us that the 30 amp sites didn’t have sewer hookups. After a couple of days a 50 amp site with sewer opened up & we were able to move. They should make sure & tell people that 30 amp sites don’t have sewer. Also, they told us not to follow our GPS, but take directions from Passport America site. We did & those directions took us through the back country; had we used the GPS, it would have taken us right to the exit off the Interstate. When we got there & showed the owner, he said nothing was right about the Passpot America directions. Hopefully, that has changed.

This is a very clean rv campsite. Easy pull thru, level sites, and full hook ups. Great water pressure. Wifi connection. The owners are friendly and even have DVDs for you to borrow. There is a huge, open field that our 87lb German Shepherd was able to run around and play in. Mammoth Caves is only 2 1/2 miles away.

Small but well maintained campground. Level sites. Trees and grass between sites and spaced nicely. Clean bathroom / showers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best WiFi I have had at a campground. Within a few miles of all attractions. We stayed 4 days. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Despite the cold weather, we had a good first stop on our RV adventure. Singing Hills is close to Mammoth Cave which was amazing to see. Clean bathrooms, spacious sites, friendly staff.

Great little park owners very friendly, god wifi, convenient to Mammoth Cave, nice long sites (all grass), catch and release pond. Their web site warns of GPS giving bad directions, ours brought us right there.

This little park was clean and the hosts were so nice. It is close to Mammoth Cave and other caves in the area. They accept Passport America and Good Sam discounts. First night was $20 and 2nd night $30 for full hookup pull thru site 34. No discount rate is $40. Would stay here again.
