Reviews for Sky Mountain Resort RV Park

| Great Park

We stayed two nights and had a great experience. The park was extremely clean as were the nice bathroom facilities. The spots by the river were all taken (darn) however there is an access gate to the river for all to use with ample opportunities to fish. We were camped in the treed area and there were other spots in open areas too. The staff was really friendly and accommodating and assisted with parking g the RV. The wi-fi was not the best but as their literature stated it was for simple usage. Verizon worked great while my wife's at&t seemed to give her some issues (data). Our site had a fire pit and the owners have decent bundles of dried wood for sale which was a nice touch. They also have some discount options when checking in and the park is very quiet. We would definitely visit again.

Careful, you might miss the entrance, then you won't get to experience this great, quiet, scenic park! They told us to take a golf cart and go pick out a spot, then come back to sign in! Now that was special.

We had the pleasure of staying in this camp for 2 nights during our trek out west in June. What an awesome place. Super friendly staff, incredible washrooms and laundry. We had a great time watching the family of foxes in the field next to the campground which was a treat. Saw elk and rabbits as well. The river is stunning and the sound of the river is perfect for a lazy afternoon. Took a hike at Heron Lake State park down the road a ways and had a great time. We will definitely stay here again!

I was given a gravel pull-thru site with FHU (36) for my 42' 5th wheel. Plenty of room on this site. Had a picnic table, but no cable TV. I was able to use my dish, even though there are plenty of trees around. I had to unhook my truck and there was plenty of room to park it next to the RV. The office has many books and DVD's to rent or buy if you wish. As you get close to the park, slow down if your coming from the south as the entrance comes up fast. Park is clean and the facilities are nice and kept up. Wi-fi on my site was great. Would stop here again.

Great people, level sites, good water, strong wifi, on the Chama River. This really is the best park in Chama if you have a big rig. They have open spots, shade area. We have 40' with 4 slides. Never gotten a scratch. Owners go above and beyond necessary to make your stay a pleasant experience. Be sure to check out their web page and facebook. We have stayed there pasr 4 summers.

This park is clean, beautiful, quiet and friendly. It is just the best, I was sad to leave and will return as often as I can. Stay here you won't regret it.

The Sky Mountain RV Park is an excellent place to stay. This is the second time we have stayed at the park in 7 years. Coming from Oregon we don't get here that often, but when we do we will be staying at this park. The people that take care of the laundry and shower/restrooms should be commended for doing a superb job of keeping them in tip top shape. The RV sites where very flat so that you had to do nothing to make your RV level. All the sites had the utility posts located in convenient spots so that you did not need extensions on any cords or hoses. They had a nice place to exercise your pet and chairs so that you could sit in the shade while your pet got his exercise. All these little things make this a good destination RV Park for Chama, New Mexico.

Clean, quiet, warm days and cool nights, trees and a nice trout stream. Owners were friendly and helpful. We didn’t want to leave. In the country but still close to town. We even had a deer visit our site one evening. This is a great place to relax.
