Okay place, and can accommodate big rigs. Should get a reservation for this place. They charge an additional fee for 50 AMP. Close to Shenandoah state park.
Nice place, lots of amenities, friendly staff. We do not use he bath houses but they look nice also. Petting zoo, mini golf, salt water pool... the only ding I have with it is some sites are really small and tight to the neighbors.
Bad water problems & even worse electric problems. Instead of fixing electric box they just move you to another site after being there several days & all settled in. We will never go there again!!
Only decent route there leads to the exit, not the entrance. Mountain Road, where they have their address, leads to the entrance and is a dangerous drive in a motorhome. Many low-hanging tree branches and narrow and winding roads. Whatever route you take there you will we tailgated by rednecks all the way who drive wildly. We returned in the dark one night after visiting the Shenandoah National Park only to have angry drivers pass us on double yellow lines on blind corners at speeds double the speed limit. A good place to get killed. This place is nothing like what they show on their web site. In addition, it was well past season with pool and hot tub closed yet they charge full price of $70 per day and even charge to use their WIFI. In two cross-country trips I have never seen anyone charge to use the WIFI. They have a list of 25 strict rules that are gruffly presented. The grounds are not well kept and there even were deep holes left open at each site where work was being done on their water system. Roads are hard to drive, narrow and with trees in the way everywhere. Sites are not level. Will never go here again.
