My family has been camping here for 50+ years . My children now love it here . It is making memories to the highest degree . Would recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful place to camp !!
We only stayed one night but they were very accommodating to find us a decent electric/water site. The wooded area was a bit damp but gravel pad was well-drained given all of the rain. The grill/restaurant was fantastic and a nice surprise for us as I really didn't want to set everything up for one night. We've marked it as a place to try again for in season and a longer stay. Nice lake and lots of activities planned for kids and groups.
Terrible. Loud. No quiet hours enforced. More like a trashy trailerpark than a campground with unruly seasonal people who are not camper friendly. Sites are not clearly marked and uneven. So much junk in seasonal people's sites that it seems very unkept. People setting off firecrackers and talking very loudly way past midnight. Bathrooms had no exterior doors and showers had no doors just a curtain. Bathrooms very old and dirty. Will not ever go again. Should never have set up in the first place.
We got here about 6pm - no one here to check us In - we called the emergency number on door- the guy called me back immediately - we checked in- very nice guy- quiet area- we would come back again
Just an over night for us and a late arrival. Gate code worked and we were surprised by the huge space. This is a little hidden gem. If you don t mind the drive, it is worth the visit. Mostly a summer getaway for the locals. I d stay again!
Campground is primarily seasonal. There are campsites in the woody area but it is very damp and muddy. The only bathrooms in this area are portalets. We had our pick of sites and two of the four had trash from recent campers. Looks great in front, nice laundry facilities. But once you pass the pool and seasonal campers, it is all downhill. Will not go back.
Pros: great store at check in, friendly staff, sites 1-9 very level, these are mostly daily sites elec and water only, lots to do for kids. Cons: sites1-9 are on main road into campground very noisy no shade, lot of seasonal rv s a little unkept and trashy, bathrooms old and dirty, no locks on stall doors
We wanted to visit Niagara Falls will out paying over 100 a night. This place has a nice staff and campers. Lots of Seasonal campers. So everyone knows everyone. We stayed 2 days in their over flow parking with 50 amp and water. With free dump station for campers. Would stay again. And only 1 hour from Niagara Falls with traffic.
