Just like the name
By user-5853613... on 2017-10-23.
... a sleepy little campground and we were happy to find it. The spaces are fairly close to one another but fine for a night or two. We didn't see any reason not to stay here - it is a campground, not a luxury RV park. Looks like the office and
Bathrooms are getting a make-over but if you are self-contained it's fine.
It is easy to miss, at least coming from the south - the sign isn't visible until it's time to turn in.

The five stars is for the peace and serenity!

The five stars is for the peace and serenity of the park. We enjoyed this park. There is no cell service either AT&T or Verizon, no Wi-Fi and no local TV. The spots are separated well enough, lots of nice grass areas for dogs, a duck pond, and wild turkeys. It was a nice place to sit out and enjoy a little peace and quite. This park would probably not be a good place if you can't live without your cell phone. We enjoyed our stay here.

Ouch
By user-5838072... on 2017-10-23.
We had to hunt for this place as the address and our GPS were at odds with each other. We drove in on a narrow bumpy dirt/gravel road, circled the limited number of sites and left. I wouldn't leave my rig unattended there under any circumstances. The only thing missing was the banjo music from the movie Deliverance. Don't mean to sound like a snob but this place is in need as major work

Stayed a night here. It was just fine. Felt perfectly safe. It doesn't have any amenities but it's wooded, shady and quiet.

Lots of Road Noise

Called to check availability and got voicemail. Went on in and the place was empty, the office and the park. Sign said office is open 4-6 pm and had instructions to pick a site and leave cash with registration card in locked box. Stayed two nites and never did see anyone. Grass needed mowing. Nice duck pond. Sites are very narrow, no picnic table or fire pit there and really no room for your own chairs or small table. FHUs and pretty good WiFi. No cable and no TV reception. Our Verizon cell phone and jet pack also got no service. Even at Passport America half off rate of $20 it was over priced.

I should know better. Typically I don't book any RV park that isn't a 6 or better on RVParkReviews, but I this was a 5.2 and now I know why. There are only 6 sites and they are slanted pull throughs that are good and long with hook ups on both sides. Here's the rub. The trees overhang and encroach way too much for big rigs. The sites are so close together that the RV's have to park staggered so when you open your door you don't lean on the other rig to get up or down the stairs. (I'm not exaggerating) But, if you stagger then you walk out on to the utility set up. When arriving and leaving I had to walk backwards in front of my husband pulling the 5th wheel and guide him through the trees and branches on the top and rocks and ditches on the bottom. The park sits right next to the road so there is road noise. The owners work full time jobs so aren't there during the day. At registration I asked if a branch could be cut off a pine so on the way out I wouldn't have to hold a broom to the branch to keep it out of the way while my husband pulled out. But, her husband works and wouldn't be able to get to it until the weekend. We were there on a Tuesday/Wednesday. No Wifi, no cell service, no satellite, no cable, no over the air. The only redeeming factors was the beautiful fall color and the ducks.
