Beyond dusty ( in September), extremely close sites, dirty restrooms, half the washers not working, NO cover on trash dumpster so millions of flies everywhere all the time, electrical hookup messed up from the start (next site same way!!) even after be"looked at", nasty person working in office... DON'T GO!!!!
Slickrock is very cozy and people are really nice and helpful, RV sites fine for 30 ft., but bathrooms very dirty and need to be fixed. More than half of the washing machines where "out of order".......cozy and helpful, but out of order.
50 USD ist just to much for that, what you get! Dirty restrooms and tiny sites.....
Worst park we stayed in during 3 month trip through the US. Also one of the most expensive. Didn't use the pool because it was raining, it looked like it was ok, although next to the park entrance and highway...
We were unable to get into our first couple of choices as our schedule changed, and we came back 2days earlier. So, we got in to this one, and were grateful to stop after a full day of driving and seeing Arches. First impressions: Yay! There's a pool and hot tubs!! How nice, the gal in the office is nice. We were instructed to pick an open site, and then come back and pay. Great! We found a shady spot (hard to come by in 100+degree Moab), got set up, and all hookups fine. Site was level and pull through. It was dusty, and roads and sites were dirt. But so far, so good. We paid, and were told that the pool had been closed due to a filter problem, but was now reopened. We could hardly wait because the heat was oppressive. We got to the pool, it was torn up at one end, and the water was murky. There were also about 8 kids (aged 2-8) hollering and jumping and taking up the whole pool. Even though it was murky, it was hot so we thought we'd risk it. There were three adult men by the working hot tub, who, I assumed were watching their kids. After about 5 minutes, I noticed the 2year old had poop in her swimsuit. We got out immediately, and I told a young couple who were just coming into the pool. The men did nothing, but then invited all the kids into the hot tub. Not cool! I reported the pooper to the office, and they were nice, but ended up not doing anything. We left and I took a shower in the restroom right by the pool. It was the worst! The handle was rusting away, everything was falling apart, and it was dirty and buggy. This could be an ok place, but some upkeep is sorely needed, and the pool and hot tub area need work. They are just YuckY. It also was not cheap, I paid over $40 for the night. I would not stay here again.
Worst campground I havr been in since 1996. Wires to low for large campers No control over parking that blocks access. Very crowded together.
Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. Stayed for 3 nights. Pool was fine, ya it was a bit dusty but having all the shade trees was great. Price was what I expected for Moab. Staff was friendly and campers were quiet and nice. I would come back again
But now 71.50 a night both jacuzzis are shut down till they spend 10k to up grade them. I really like the owner but I believe this will be the last time I stay here. Been coming for 6 years twice a year but for this price I can stay at the resorts in town. It's a shame.
Can t und understand the bad reviews, we just decided to stay longer. Nice spot, great to explore Arches and Canyon NP. Bathrooms clean & working.
Great campground. I don t understand any of the bad reviews. The only downside was the hot tubs were out of order but that s no big deal. The campground is well shaded and clean. They have a playground and dog run. Clean bathrooms and nice RV spots. They accommodated us last minute and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!
We stayed 2 nights with a smaller camper. Restrooms were dated but clean. Plenty of shade.
No redeeming features in this RV park. Sparse facilities and campers crammed in like sardines. High testosterone levels and heavy drinking when we were there. Party lasted until early morning. We were far enough away to sleep, but pity those who weren't. Will never be back.
Way too much $$$ for any park with such tight spaces. I m looking out my window at my neighbors slide out which is less 2' from my motorhome. Vehicles just parked with no space! Poor mgmt!! It s a popular area so they charge what they want.
We stayed here while visiting Arches National Park. The staff was friendly and helpful, the restrooms were clean and the area was quiet and not overly crowded. The Wi-Fi worked well and we had no problems with the cable. The pool was closed while we were their but everything else was well maintained. The only issue that I had was that the pet area was at the same location as the playground.
