Another state campground with lots of room, a picnic table and a fire ring. This campground is unusual for Alaska in that it has fresh water that comes from a faucet instead of a pump. Makes it a lot easier to put water on your rig. This is a good fishing spot along the Anchor River. It is also near the beach where you can watch for eagles, etc. feeding on the leftovers from the day’s charter fishing catch. The campground was almost full, but it was quiet and peaceful. Our Verizon MiFi worked well as did our ATT phones.
