Very peaceful in the dense forests of Felton. Don't drive north on hwy 9 from Santa Cruz in a RV. Road is windy and small. 59 $ a night for a full hookup. WIFI very unstable.

Husband and I met up with our daughter and son-in-law. Staff was very accommodating to fit us in. This is a very beautiful park and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and fun to talk with.

| Hidden jem in the Santa Cruz Redwoods

By user-5802969... on 2018-07-06.

Such a beautiful RV Park nestled in the Redwoods. All sites have full hook ups and are level. WiFi lounge, 65+ cable channels, heated pool, billiard room, ping pong table, play areas, laundry room with new washers/dryers, super clean bathrooms and showers, and extremely nice and helpful staff! Only 15 minutes from the beaches in Santa Cruz , 50 minutes from Monterey and less than 5 miles from a Costco! The office sells things we might have forgotten to bring with us, and they have ice cream, ice, soda and firewood too! Each site has a fire pit and is very peaceful, especially when the train whistles in the forest close by. Lots of hiking, biking, etc. We really love this place and can understand why so many people make this hidden jem their favorite camping spot. Great history here, it's the 1st campground to open 100+ years ago! Still in the same family too. Prideful ownership shows! *No more than an overall RV length of 40ft will be allowed in the park.

***Didnt stay*** Wanted to stay here but they have a dog breed policy. Cotillion Gardens down the street took us in and we had a great stay there!

| Expensive, but pretty area.

Just there for the night and the spot was nice. Big trees all around. I thought it was expensive for what it was, but hey, you're in the Bay Area pretty much, so what do you expect. There was a good bar and grill about a mile walk into town that had a nice dog-friendly patio, so we and our 2 dogs had dinner there. Very nice. I would say that the park was very kid friendly and had a nice pool and wiffle-ball court that looked fun. I would definitely take a family here.

We stayed here as the other nearby CG recommended them since they didn t have any vacancy. It was beautiful! They had one of the staff guide us in between the redwoods. Also they helped get our CATV set-up. Super helpful and friendly. Be aware of a steep entry arrival but it was fine.

| No internet/phone, HIDDEN fees

There is NO INTERNET except near the office. NO PHONE RECEPTION. Each bundle of wood is $12. OUTRAGEOUS right? And according to them santa cruz tax is 11% but looked it up on the internet and is actually 9.25%. The place was decently nice but shameful to say we will not come back.
