Reservations, but first come first served for the spots. Plenty to choose from, with a lot of space between each other. 100% boondocking, but water is available at the dump station, which is on the grounds. Most (all?) sights level. Well worth the value and will return.
Was greeted by one of the sweetest ladies at the front gate. Her name was Doris Day. Really nice and super upbeat. After running into full campsite after full campsite we were happy to find someone who was so happy (since we were a bit rundown) also found out it was the cheapest campground in the area. 2 sections in this campground. One for day use at the beach and dunes. One area for camping. We could see the marina from our spot and had a short walk to bathrooms. Showers were clean and nice. Need tokens (which u buy at machines near showers) ($1 for 4 minutes). was worth it for us after 2 days of car camping and campfires. There was a weird beeping noise coming from across the highway in the marina. We never did figure out what it was but we got used to it after the first hour. Saw a skunk wasn't an issue after we set up some lights, it just didn't know we were there and left once it saw out flashlight Beam. Everyone was super friendly including all of the camp hosts
