Great stop. Wooded, on the river and off the road. Bathrooms lovely with lots of hot water. If weren't on the way home we definitely would have stayed
The best campground ever. Nice people running the camp, so nice. Quiet, clean,clean bathrooms and beautiful setting with a stream in back of camp.Will go there again.
Very nice CG situated along the Rio Grande. All nicely shaded and spacious site that seem reasonable level. Staff very cordial upon checking and provide guided assistance in parking your rig. Bathhouse centrally located very clean showers and toilets. Stayed late in the season so park was only 40% occupied. Hook ups were well positioned as modern. Nice book exchange, DVD rental, and clean laundry. Great place to base-camp to watch fall foliage and make higher elevation day trips to Creede and Lake City. While we did not go into the other campgrounds here, this one is well off the highway, (no noise) this one seemed the nicest.
