This is a beautiful park on the outskirts of Idaho Falls right on the river. You can hear -- but not really see the local traffic. We just needed a place to stay overnight and this just fit the bill.
This is a very lovely city park with a spacious campground along the banks of the Snake River. There are 15 sites, most pull-through, level, and able to accommodate large rigs. The roads through the park are wide and paved. There is a dump station and a bathroom. No hook ups. Each spot has a picnic table, grill, and fire pit. The areas are carpeted with soft green grass. We were looking for a place for the night on our way into Yellowstone, and this was perfect, quiet and nicely kept. You pay your $15 (cash or check) at the entrance in a box.
