Easy access off Texas 90 and big rig friendly. SOFT water!! GOOD electric. Perfect full hookups for a night or two. Pet friendly with a nice fenced off leash spot with dirt (NO stickers) surface plus shade tree. PA rate $15/night for level 50 amp full hookups up pull thru. Highly recommend.

Not a "resort, but a very nice place to park with level sites pull thru, very good WiFi, nice owners. Plenty of room for big rigs.

| What a nice find :)

Very straight forward park with great WiFi reception. Flat and gravel with easy access from the freeway. Perfect for overnight and extremely helpful staff. Ask Dale and he will be there to make your stay pleasant.

| Great stop along the way!

Office hours are great for Day drivers! Some spots are awkward for hooking up. The post and sewer are at the back of the spot and with a rear slide it forced us to have the slide in the driveway a bit. They were accommodating to that, but the post position was still a pain. Prices are great, didn't have a chance to check out the amenities, but there is a bath house, laundry, pet area and a playground. We arrived during a Thunderstorm and that was the only reason we didn't get out a bit.

| Good site

Very helpful gentleman at the front desk. Nice level site with a cement pad. Good cable reception. Excellent value for the Passport America price.

| Not good

Very easy to stay the night here. Interstate is nearby, but not bad. Bathrooms are old, but the water gets nice and hot. $27 a night with Veteran discount

| Good Road Stop

By user-5281494... on 2017-10-23.

Was here for one night around 3-10-26. Not a bad park, but some owners don't pick up after their pets. Currently every place in this town is full of pipeline workers, but this place holds 10 spaces for overnight people.

We arrived on a windy, dreary day. The park is located between the highway and the rail tracks in a gravel field. However, it does offer the amenities that a weary traveler needs: full hook-ups, drive through, cable, decent wifi, clean restrooms. Good stopover for the night.

| I can't complain

By user-5240040... on 2017-10-23.

The lady behind the desk was just so sweet. Every site had a cement pad and was very level. We did eat at the steakhouse only a block away and the ribs were amazing. It was a great place to stop while passing through.

| Very nice

Got in late and was still met with a smile. Level spot, new hookups, great wifi. Restrooms were clean and in good shape. Would stay again.

I was given a gravel pull-thru for my 42' 5th wheel. I was able to leave the trucked hooked to the RV for the night. I had a FHU site, but just used the electric, cable and wi-fi. Cable is limited to a few channels and the wi-fi wasn't bad. Dogs barking all the time. There are stores within walking of the park. Good one night park.

| Good Overnight Stay

By user-5821122... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-06-10 to 2016-06-11

Gravel interior roads and pads. Good amount of room between pads and big rig friendly. Sites were level, voltage and water pressure were a bite on the low side, but adequate. There was more than a fair amount of noise from the interstate and railroad. Overall, a good overnight stop when traveling I-10.

| Great overnite stop

By user-5729816... on 2017-10-23.

Great place to stop, easy access and long sites so no disconnect of toad. Very helpful staff.

| Friendly & Clean

We called ahead and the woman was very friendly. Level pull throughs with cement patio pads. Bathroom was very clean, showers perfect and comfy warm. Great overnight stop and reasonably priced.

Great passport park. $15 a night. Steak house next door very good.

By user-6159824... on 2017-10-23.

Appears to be in the midst of an upgrade. New sewers and electric pedestals. Nice level spots, all pull-thrus. Excellent secured wi-fi. The office is only open from 1-6. Sits between the interstate and the railroad tracks, but did not find the highway or train noise that bad. We would definitely stay here again.

| Super Clean

By user-5580907... on 2017-10-23.

We were met by a friendly, helpful woman who got us into our sight quickly and made us feel very welcome. The big block fence was perfect because the wind blew cold and strong. The bathrooms and showers were spotless and the heater was on so it was toasty warn. Perfect overnight stop.

| Level lot, new power boxes...

By user-5838250... on 2017-10-23.

Pulled off the freeway and stayed one night. $27 a night. Bathrooms are ok, showers wreaked of a weird bleach/chemical smell... headache after a shower... wifi is great, didn't try the cable TV. Not much in this town, restaurants only open after 5. So McDonald's for dinner and relax with a movie.

| Back open and nice

It's now called Southern Star RV Park. All is well and a nice place to stay.

| Really nice campground

By user-5215038... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-06-23 to 2017-06-24

We we're a night check in and a nice man came up and gave his opinion as to what sites might accommodate our size which was really nice of him to do! This campground was very well maintained, full hookups. The price was good! $27.00 for GoodSam $24.00 for Escapees. They also had a couple of other discounts but regular price w/o discounts was $35.00 which is a really good price! The CG was easy to find, if ever in the area we will return!!

50 amp power keeps going to ow voltage and my progressive power keeps turning service off to protect electrical equipment. Cold night and everyone is likely using heaters. Other than power issue good place for a nights sleep

Stayed here one night after a long day of travel. Level sites with cable and full hookups. I am a newbie so most experienced are new to me. The office was closed but soon after arriving I was greeted by management with the paperwork to fill out. I would stay here again.

Easy off and back on I-10 Good modern hookups. 50 AMP We could not get OTA TV - no cable WiFi worked well - Nice steakhouse you can walk to next door Chelle in the office was very friendly $25.50 with veteran discount. Situated between I-10 and railroad tracks. Could hear both but it doesn t bother us. We would stay here again when passing through.

| Good overnite stop

By user-5616038... on 2019-08-09.

Convenient to I-10. Envelope with site and park info posted at office. A little interstate noise and occasional train on other side. Not enough to bother us. Nice restaurant within walking distance.
