Reviews for Southlake RV Park

| Ok for emergency stop

The only sites that may be close to level are probably under the trailers that wish they were as nice as something FEMA would provide in crisis situations. Several residents have holes cut into the sides of the trailer for window AC. The lake is surrounded by trash. Potable toilets were detectable by nose at least 50 yards away. Trust me, you can do better.

Park entrance is full of potholes and it goes down from there. Roads are really narrow with almost no gravel, so if it rains mud is everywhere. Site we selected was supposedly 42 foot not even close very unlevel saw no concrete pads only gravel. Retaining wall was falling over and site showed significant erosion. There was a pile of gravel dumped at one site but you would need 30 or more loads to correct the problems of the area I stayed. No investment of any kind has been made in many years. Very sad it has potential but strongly recommend you stay elsewhere. I ignored the other review and thought no way its 1 star. Well I was dead wrong it's a 1 star or less park.
