Was there first part of June. Weather was good but campground was really nice. Very well maintained. Has water and electric but no sewer. Does have a dump station. Hosts very helpful. I would recommend this campground. It’s in a city park right on the river. We stayed in a 38 ft fifth wheel. Would stay here again.
We read "First Come/First Serve" basis so we pulled in and found a site...only to be told that another camper had CALLED an hour before so the host was saving the spot for them. Oh well... lesson learned! We went back the next day and there was a site for our 34 foot motorhome. Grass site was level. We parked in a middle site, lots of room! The hosts were really helpful and welcoming. The park is well maintained, clean restrooms and showers too. Great hiking path accessible right at the park. Easy access to water for kayaks too. Easy drive to Duluth area.
