Reviews for Spring Creek Campground

| Nice stop.

By user-5823030... on 2017-10-23.

I camped overnight mid week in September while heading west. Only a few spots were taken. This is a clean and well maintained private campground with electrical hookups. There are also tent sites. The restrooms are clean. The showers have plenty of hoy water. It was pleasant talking to Bob, the owner, and his little dog. Go a bit up the road from where the GPS takes you. Turn left, following the signs.

Needed a place to lay-over due to high winds and was so pleased to find this campground reroute. Wonderful, quiet, clean, and charming! Owner gave us full access even though we were the only campers! Will make a special effort to re-visit.

They stay open as weather allows for camping with electricity. Restrooms were closed. Great stop for an overnight late season for us.

| A Must Stay when in the area

We are traveling through to Indiana. We needed a place to stay and everything is closed for the winter. Even this park! Bob the owner answered the phone at 8pm on a Sunday told me the park was closed, I asked him if he knew any place we could stay for one night that everything in the area was closed and we didn’t want to drive all day and night to find something. He said come on in, you can stay in any site for the night, you will be alone in the park but you will have a place to stay. He is so kind. The park is beautiful, no trains, no highway.....pure quite peaceful stay.

| Beautiful, clean, reasonable and on a pond

A wonderful find on a very cold spring day. If we lived in the area this would definitely be a favorite campground in the summer. We called ahead and the owner told us the park was closed and the water wasn’t on, but available, and if we didn’t mind that we would be welcome. We are so glad we came.

| A perfect overnight but would be worth staying several days

A beautiful natural setting with Pond trees and plenty of grass. A very relaxing setting . Level gravel sites with easy access. Some sites without water but all seem to have electric hook-up, and park has a dump station. Clean restrooms and shower. Management is off site but close by and very friendly.

| A perfect place to stop and relax for the night.

A nice quiet place about a mile from the highway. Relaxed under the trees next to the pond with a beautiful breeze. The hosts are friendly and super nice people. Electric only at site but that s fine with us. Definitely would stop again! Rate was $20, cash only.

Arrived around 9pm and owner was kind enough to let us pay in the morning. Fellow campers were helpful with backing in the trailer on the dark. Electric and hookup only at my spot but spigot nearby to fill up my 5 gallo water cans

We arrived late after a long day driving and were greeted with the sounds of our childhoods, crickets, frogs and cicadas. Lovely pond and grounds, would highly recommend!

This campsite is absolutely beautiful. We stayed 2 nights and loved it. Sites were gravel but leveled. Owners live onsite (Bob and Norma) and are very friendly and attentive. This is a cash only site, with a rate of $20.00 a night. Will definitely visit again when traveling this route.

What a serene little campground. Neat, clean restrooms. Stopped for the night. Could definitely have stayed longer. Beautiful little pond. Owners very friendly. Only electric at the site, , but definitely worth the stop
