Reviews for Spring Creek Park

| Ok place

The rv spots are only 20 feet apart with no trees. I Called to make reservation and was told that no spots were open for five weeks. Went online instead, got a spot reserved for the next day. Looks like homeless from the area use the showers during the daytime. Also, you'll be locked in (or out) after 10pm. No exceptions.

We didn't camp but it's a clean looking place. There are about 8 RV sites all in a row. Not rustic but there are some trees. Its not my kind of place but it would work if you were in the area to visit someome. I think you need to call to reserve.

There are eight level concrete FHU sites, side by side, with plenty of space for slides / awnings. There is grass in between each site and gravel to park on in front of your RV with individual garbage cans at each hook-up station. Beware: Sites #1 and #5 have VERY mature pine trees directly above. If it storms, you will be bombarded by pine cones and branches. There are no picnic tables at the sites, but isn't that why we all own a plastic fold-up table? The county park sprawls out over 100 acres and is very well taken care of by Danny and the other rangers. Yes, many people that are living in their cars come to shower, but everyone needs a safe place to get clean and why not? This is a public facility, after all. There are concrete picnic tables, bbqs, and group fire pits throughout the park. On one end, there is a huge grassy field perfect for Frisbee and a lot of trails that wind through the wooded areas. On the other, a communal pole barn for large group activities, a big playground, two tennis courts, covered basketball courts. Burroughs dog park is six miles away. Something for everyone!

Well maintained park, very nice with full hookups. Quiet and secure at night. Reservation required but free stay.
