It looked like somebody just walked away from this place. Nothing in this camp ground has been taken care of in a few years.

Just drive in, find a site and stay for a couple of weeks. No one checks, no one cares, not sure if anyone is employed there. Maybe it is closed. We stayed for 2 weeks before someone noticed.
| Major Disappointment
Many of the A and C area sites are terrible! There is so much debris and junk allowed on the sites that they are disgusting. I joined Thousand Trails to avoid campgrounds like this has become. Why has this been allowed? It does not look healthy for a family campground. Maybe in a third world country but seriously in Michigan? The new pool is excellent but who feels safe next to decrepit sites and boarded up rest (open doors) restrooms? My membership inThousand Trails is devalued with this Park. Encore, please listen, inspect and clean out this place. The host was friendly and helpful. The front gate broken and unattended and so not secure. We leave sad and disappointed. Dennis Gerlach
