Reviews for Staysail RV Park

| Waterfront City Park

This park is part of the city park system of the city of Oak Harbor. The actual rv parking area is not fancy but there are full hookups in good condition. There are also picnic tables for each site. The park is first come, first serve with self registration. You must pay by cash or check the very reasonable rate of $20.00 a day. The RV park adjoins a very well maintained city park on the bay. The grass is watered, green and well groomed. There is beach access and a boat ramp. There are also extensive paved walking trails along the harbor with many benches and picnic tables. There are several playgrounds as well as a swimming lagoon and many other amenities. The park is located near 2 large grocery stores and many shopping and dining opportunities. You can walk downtown and to the marina. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we wrote a thank you email to the mayor and park department.

| A city park?

We were confused as this was listed as a city park, with great reviews from RVers. Well as the reviews stated this is a beautiful park. With full rv amenities. 30 amp plugs, water and dump at each site--all for $25/night. And on a first come first serve basis. Park is in front of the rv spaces and then is the beach. We stayed here and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in oak harbor.

| Nice City Park

Staysail is incorporated in a city park. Currently their are approximately 25 full hook up 30 amp sites. It is a no reservations park and is $25/night. The RV park is divided into street and park sides, the park side is very nice and the street sites are small backing up to the street with traffic noise. No showers or laundry. Their is a park restroom which closes at 10pm. Wifi works well and most sites are sitelilite friendly. There's also a small homeless population in the park so don't leave valuables unsecured. We stayed in a Class A motorhome. We actually enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We would like to have given it a higher rating but given the lack accommodations and security it is difficult to give it a higher rating.

| Beautiful RV Park

We love it here, but unfortunately it will be closed for at least 3 years as of March 31. The city is building a wastewater treatment plant and using Staysail for staging. Sad for us RVer's.

The morons at Oak Harbor city hall have in their infinite stupidity have decided to close the RV park to facilitate renovations at WINDJAMMER PARK unfortunately they have made no plans to relocate the RV park nearby. Unbeleivable
