We camped here over Memorial Day and it was great. The facilities are nice and clean. The campground is pretty and spread out. We didn't have electricity

Great State Park

This park is a gem. Make sure to enter from the Steamboat side. County Road 129 from Wyoming is a gravel forest service road. GPS from Wyoming will take you to county road 129.

Stunningly beautiful state park

Stayed 2018-06-03 to 2018-06-09
We've tent camped and now RV camped here several times. Very clean facility, beautiful lake, half hour to Steamboat Springs, easy hikes and biking, boat rentals. We love this park and will return. We booked too late to get a site with electric hookups but easy water fill and dump station.

Maintenance

We are big state park users here in Colorado and this parks lack of maintenance & care is such a disappointment compared to other state parks . I called visitors center they claim it s due to end of season we have been here many time and this has been an ongoing issue no excuse this park has such beautiful views it s a shame

Hidden Gem

This is a bit off the beaten track but well worth the drive from Steamboat. Emerald green in June with wildflowers just starting to peak. Saw moose, deer, rocky mountain sheep, hummingbirds, and wild turkey!
