The location shown on the map in RV Parky is incorrect. The actual park is 11 miles east of the spot on thus map. I made a reservation for 2 nights in part due to it's supposed close proximity to Joyce Kilmer forest and Lake Santeetlah. Google maps took me down a crazy gravel one lane road around the lake to a dead e n d and then showed me a walking distance of 5 minutes to the park! Turning around and driving a 32ft Class C RV out of there was no small feat! It took an hour to find the actual location of Stecoah RV resort. Once here we were disappointed to see basically an open field with gravel roads and full hook ups. No real amenities just a place to sit. A man working on the site told me the owner has not been out here in about 2 years. I had to pay online in advance so no way to ask for a refund. We decided to stay one night and are leaving tomorrow to find a place in the National Forest. I will not return here...
