Concrete roads and slabs, average spacing, out door pool, front load washers. Price is fair. No elec meters. No cable, poor selection of over air channels. We like it here.

This has all the amenities you would expect from a top of the line resort but as they are new, the cable TV wasn t working yet (I m told mid-September). Other than that, everything was perfect. I was fortunate to have perfect weather too. Some of the amenities include dog waste stations throughout the park, clubhouse, 2 laundry rooms as part of the showers/restrooms available for guests, swimming pool, splash pad, playground, street garbage pick up though out the day, all concrete pads with most being pull thru, side by side dog parks (one big; one small). They can handle the longest of rigs with toads. There s a host who provides you with your packet of materials when you check in and escorts you in golf cart to your site. I think one of my favorite parts was sitting in one of the 4 swinging benches under the clubhouse where it s nice and cool, enjoying the music and watching the birds and fish in the pond. They have a tiki bar and bbqs for guests and events too. If you have friends who want to stay but don t have a rig, they have rental bungalows too. I quickly discovered that there is a side road parallel called 7 1/2 Mile Road that goes right to one of the pocket beaches. It s a quick 2 minute ride on my bicycle and free for bikes ($12 entrance fee for cars). We went to the beach 4 out of 7 days. There is also a German restaurant, Michael Burger, and a nightclub/bar, Woody s, within walking distance if you don t want to drive.

Pros-The park was great, new, beautiful, amazing sceneries! Level pads, beautiful grass per each site. The resort itself was amazing, and offered lots and had many events. Everything was very very big and clean. Awesome pool, bathrooms, everything! Cons-wifi seemed very slow or unreliable most of our stay. Dog park, not much of a dog park. Very, very short narrow lanes is at best what I would call them. Literally no mare than a bowling lane for big dogs. Shame considering how much they put into everything else.

Clean, level concrete pads, grass area, helpful staff and Amazing pool! When my husband and I arrived there was no need to exit vehicle because a staff member met us at gate and escorted us to our site. Our stay was close enough to downtown Strand and tasty food options. We would stay again

Huge pull-thru sites. Quiet and clean, just make sure you don't stay near the major roads.

This was our first time to Galveston and am so glad we got a spot at Stella Mare. The staff was friendly, the spots well kept and clean, however not much shade at any of the spots. The dog park was a nice addition as this was our first time camping with our two fur babies. The pool was always busy but never felt overcrowded (in my opinion) with lots of other kids for my kids to play with. They had little planned activities, a movie one night and face/rock painting, during our stay but we weren t ever around to enjoy them. If we ever make it back to Galveston we would stay here again.
