Very nice park with excellent hiking and biking trails. Very pretty and right by the Brazos River. The park has very nice, full service, drive-through sites which are level with side views into the trees and thickets. A nice golf course is adjacent to the park. I noticed a comment about fire ants but they are everywhere in Texas. Just don't put your chair on a mound. We've never had any problems at state parks with fire ants. We highly recommend this park.
Some campsites have a fire ant infestation. Exercise care when selecting a site to camp. Park Rangers will assist by spraying campsite.
I would go back.
