Nice park. We will be back. Sites a little small (but I have a 40 footer 5th wheel) and uneven.

We stayed for 5 months last winter, not many amenities BUT there are several parks nearby(yellow river park being our favorite) that have great playgrounds. Convenient to anywhere Atlanta and never felt unsafe.

I am giving this place 1 star because we never got to stay there. This site was booked because my husband was thinking of staying in the park for long term while attending Med school at Emory and we wanted to try the park out. Dasked if we have any pets, which we do have 2 large well behaved dogs but they would not be living with him while attending school. She said that there was additional charges for the pets which seemed reasonable even though we didn't find this additional rate on the website. She asked what time we would be coming in for our weekend stay and he said about 4:00. She said if it is late there would be a paper on the door. Today she called and asked if we were almost there that it was almost 4:00 and we explained that my husband's meeting ran late and there ended up being another 1 after that and would around 10:00 be ok? She said no there are no check ins after dark that we would disturb other guests. This again seemed reasonable so we tried to keep the 2nd nights reservation to see the park and she said if you stay 1 night the rate goes up to $69 per night and "you would be happier staying at another park. You should just stay at stone mountain." Then she canceled the reservation. I am a pharmacy manager and I know how to manage difficult situations with good customer service skills. Do not expect good customer service and think twice about relying on a reservation at this place. Also know that the rates change at their discretion.

Camped here twice over the summer of 2015. Nice lake views. Quiet, and close to shopping.

Though it is right off the main drag, it's quiet with large lots and concrete parking pads. Had much help backing my 40 footer in, too. Here for a month, $700 all utilities included. No Wi-Fi, though.

Our reservations were for Memorial weekend Monday so the office was closed for the holiday, but our packet was in a mail box by the office door with instructions about our spot. Most slots are pull through which is nice, but for ours we had to dive over a grassy area to get to it. The place was pretty empty, so we walked around looking for shorts and test rooms . There is s nice pool, laundry facility, but no showers and rest rooms to be found. The location is very convenient to the Stone Mountain Park. Numerous fast food places are within a walking distance but don’t bother with the Applebee’s up the road. We walked out after sitting for 12 minutes being totally ignored while a bunch of guys were yelling at each other at the bar. Back to the RV Park: it is pretty old, and barely kept up to average standards. Some sites have concrete patios and most are just grass and gravel.

Only 3 stars cause it is expensive for what it is. But its the going rate I suppose for the area. Stayed 3 nights, full hook up for $54. The other STONE RV Park ( our first choice) that s within Stone Mountain, was the same price but the only spot they had open for our dates did not have sewer hookup. The place here is huge, looks like it has been family owned for a very long time. A little run down for what it is. But owners are very nice. It got the job done for what we needed it for. Will allow dogs greater than 30 lb but you must abide to their rules, so having our 75 lb husky was no problem. A few minutes to stone mt and about 30 mins to downtown Atlanta. W/D facility and bathrooms but no showers. Neither one we used so can t comment on it.
