| Not as nice as we had expected

By user-484001 on 2017-10-23.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting the Atlanta area. The park was pretty empty as it was early January. The sites were in worse shape than we expected for the nightly rate. We had to spend quite a bit of time leveling but after seeing the other sites in our loop we were really glad to have the one we did. I have no idea how you would get leveled in some of the sites they offer. The shower facility seemed in decent condition and the laundry was handy although a little expensive. The location of the park is nice if you are wanting to see Stone Mountain but after seeing Mt. Rushmore it could not really compare.

| Memorial Day weekend

We stayed here friday thru Monday and had a great time the Campground was great and have certain privileges if u camp there like early bird amphibian vehicle tours. Our site was level and close to the facilities. Beautiful views and well maintained campground. We will be going back next year.

| Beautiful and clean

By user-5267175... on 2017-10-23.

Overall, a great and clean place to camp. Takes a lot to level on most sites though. Some are worse than others. Pull throughs on some loops have awkward approaches and the worst for levelling, loop m in particular.
