| A victim of their own success
Thought this would be a great place. Not! Feels like a really crowded neighborhood in a big poor city. Sites not well defined, found my assigned site being encroached by my neighbor. Restroom was so gross I wouldn't even use the facilities, let alone try the shower. Wifi offered, but for an additional usury rate, then it fails at 8:00pm. To make a bad experience worse, there's a very loud concert going on a few sites down - don't know if it will end soon or I'll just have to pack up and leave. Very disappointing!
| Home away from home!
This RV park is beautiful! Located on a BIG lake. We pull our fifth wheel and a boat when we come. They have a beautiful canal with slips to keep your boat in, gas, bait, and an awesome restaurant if you don't feel like cooking! This is a family run buisness and they care! There is a massive beach, two playgrounds, a rec room, a fish cleaning house, laundry, beach volleyball, and basketbal. The roads are paved for biking and rip sticks! We camp here every year at least twice. A fabulous well run park with big spots, lots of trees 50amp full hookups right on the water!
| Good campground and Lake
Stony Point is located on beautiful Cass Lake and offers a lot for the lake and water lover. There is a nice beach area for the kids, rental watercraft, a big store and restaurant to make your stay more pleasant. There are a number of cabins for rent that border the lakefront and would be perfect for family reunions. The RV park is nice enough and there a lot of trees for shade. Some of the spaces are a bit tight to get in to if your rig is very long and some of the trees need trimmed up too. When we plugged into shore power, the pedestal had a bad breaker and upon notification of the camp office, it was promptly replaced. The staff was friendly and everyone was pleasant. There is no Wifi or cable TV and local channels are few. I was a bit disappointed as the Resort website says that Wifi is available throughout the campground even though this is not true. Wifi is available at the office if you need to get online.
