Love this park! Great sites, very good staff. Close to everything, but quietly tucked away. You will love it there! Level concrete pads. Very nice bathhouse. Well placed pool.
Been coming here since it open3d 4 years ago. A lot of the Palm trees have died off. Grass is dying off due to a fungus. Pads level concrete. Full hookups work well. However for next year rates going up 35% , tax 3xtra and a 13% Baldwin lodging tax will be added. Rumors that next year you will pay for electricity. Front Drs very hard to work with. For snowbirds they want $200,00 deposit and 2 month minimum. Only deposit not refundable if you cancel. Unfinished new bathroom, will never be finished. Roads nice, however a new gate entry makes it hard to get in with a long rv, you stick out in roscoe road? Nice clubhouse. Many people not returning next year due to above complaints. We will stay in Florida next year. 7% tax and much less lot rent. Also in Alabama you pay sales tax on groceries! It seems all the rv parks here have increased their rates with the attitude Lets stick it to em.
We really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Sands. Very clean, nice facilities, friendly staff!
