This was a very very clean campground from the sites to the laundry room to the bath house to the showers and the Quant store/office. You can tell that this family cares, they personally escort you to your site that is a nice flat site. We enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely stay here again in our travels.
We are having a wonderful time. The campground is kept meticulously and we went to the ice cream social tonight. It was a buck for ice cream and was it good. The weather so far has been wonderful, it'seems not noisy, just right. Very nice sites and the people were super friendly. I will definitely be back when we can. Thank you.
This is a great Campground just north of Iron Mountain MI on M95. The owners are very nice campsites are well kept. The bathrooms are clean and they have a great in ground pool. Highly recommended.
Stayed here in a 36' Fifthwheel . Had nice pull thru sites. Full hookups with 50 amp. No cable and weak wifi but they are working on the wifi system. Very nice owners that try to help any way they can. Would stay here again if in area.
We camped in a 40' motorhome. Easy access via gravel internal roads. We had a grass pull thru with 30 amp and water, no sewer, used the dump station upon leaving which was also easy access. Clean restrooms and showers. (wife did not like them though) Nice laundry although only two washers. Fairly level sites, lots of trees and grass. A very Pet friendly place. Folks running the place were also very friendly. Had packages delivered while there and they brought them out to the coach which was very nice. I would stay there again if i could get a 50 amp site. There seemed to be too few of them. There were also a few very secluded sites in the back that I didn't know where there for a coup.e of days.
Traveling west across the UP, we stopped here for the night. Sites are mostly grass and fairly level. The area was nicely kept, the bathrooms were clean, and the pool inviting, although due to a thunder storm we didn't get to enjoy it. I have a feeling this campground is filled most summer weekends, although we had a choice of sites on a Sunday night. Plenty of places to walk our dog. $28.00 - discount = $25.20. We stayed here in a 25' motorhome and will stay again if we pass through the area.
This park was an Escapees park, but is not any longer. That said, nice park, not all spots are FHU, but we did have FHU and 50 amp. We were traveling through to Mackinaw and stopped for a couple of nights. Only reason for 3 stars and not 4, was the poor handling of barking and annoying dogs. Management didn't seem to be able to get that under control. Don't get me wrong, we travel with dogs, but the noise and cacophony of barking was way over the top.
