You can take your time and pick out some very big sites here...it was a mobile home park so half the sites are pull in back out...and all escapees park's give you a hug when you check in...

| I would not stay here again unless or until they get decent Wi-Fi throughout the park

You’re set in a very rustic country setting. The fellow RV’ers are VERY friendly. The RV site we had was too small for my rig and crowded my neighbors. I was able to find a spot for my satellite even though it was quite wooded. The only Wi-Fi was at the office and only one person at a time could be on it. The facilities were run down, but O.K. The staff was helpful. We did not use the indoor pool. I would not stay here again unless or until they get decent Wi-Fi throughout the park.

Very nicely laid out rv park, just what you’d expect from Escapees. Nice bath houses. I think there were full hookups. We were just there a couple nights at the end of the season. It appeared there were plenty of activities during the winter.

Nice campground. People very friendly and helpful. Did weigh-in for our rig and tow vehicle. Full hookups. Shade trees with large level sites.

| Very poor mail service. Bad site design.

Avoid at all costs. This is an Escapees park. Getting a space long enough to establish a domicile, requires a reservation a year in advance. My water and power are located near the front of the rig. The water and power for the site is more than 60 feet away, you will need an extra hose and probably two extra 50 amp extension cords. I have a 35ft primary 50 amp plug-in cable and a 25 foot 50 amp extension cord. I was still about 8 feet short and needed to adapt down to 30 amp and add my 30 ft 30 amp cable to get power. As for the mail service, don't trust escapees with such important paperwork. Sumter Oaks RV Park does not track the mail it sends to Texas. Any mail that comes to Sumter Oaks for Texas (your most important mail - passports, title and vehicle registrations, drivers license) is simply scooped up and thrown into a box to ship to Texas. This mail that was securely tracked and delivered by the post office is now in the hands of volunteers who have no connection to the postal service. Bottom line for us they lost a Passport :( a week later they finally found it but rather than getting it shipped back right away the day they found it, they sat on it for an extra week. To top it all off the staff at Sumter Oaks told me I could not get my mail sent from Texas back to Sumter Oaks to pickup unless I am staying at the park. Remember my first statement "they do not have room for you to stay" They lost my mail in the first place and now they want to make it that much more difficult to retrieve.

| No WiFi No AT&T cell phone coverage.

Bad cell coverage, No wifi, Don't dry camp - RV dump is not maintained or accessible. Will need extra hoses and power extensions, sites are wide with trees that are random in the space making the site hard to get into, plus the power and water tends to be on the wrong corner of the site.

Stopped in only for the night. The park is clean. The hosts are friendly. We are Escappees members and found to place to be everything we expect from our club parks. Laundry room is well maintained. The other park guests were friendly for our short stop.

| Sweet Little Campground!

We are Escapees members staying for a month long and we love it so far! Can t beat the monthly rate with discount and the people are very kind. It is quiet and full of mature trees. We love to take walks in the evenings! We don t have kids so lack of pool and entertainment for them doesn t bother us. Only downside for us (since we work remotely) is lack of WiFi, but we have been successfully using our hotspots with great signal (Verizon). There are a lot of full timers here with their cutely settled in sites!

| Nice friendly paek
