By user-4854925... on 2017-10-23.

Just got here and ready to leave. ....registration office smells like a dog kennel because it had cages of dogs no ac. Could hear the dogs yippin from our camp site. They let their dogs roam freely in the park. Keep on driving. .

Big rig friendly; FHU 30/50 amp; no cable; free wi-fi but very weak; PA rate $20.50 for 50 amp. Campground is for sale. Parking on gravel.

| Sun Valley RV park (formerly Route 66 rv)

This park is newly owned (01/2016) and operated by a very very nice, hard working family. 3 generations. We visited in early April 2016. At that time they were putting in a play area for kids. It's not perfect yet, but it's well on its way. The water is a little discolored, tested, and reported safe. But, we stuck with bottled water for drinking.

| Reasonable & friendly

Just overnighting & got in at nearly dark, so can't speak to accomodations so much as friendly service. Chris even helped me back into my space. It's noisy because of the nearby interstate, but cheap so I can deal.

| Full Time Travlers - Improved Park!!

By user-5284826... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-03-21 to 2016-03-24

This park is an old park that we have stayed at before that was just taken over by a new family of owners the first of the year 2016. They have a lot of plans to fix up this park as well as a lot of things they have completed. In example while we were there they completed a fully fenced dog run in one corner of the park. It has 2 benches and a table and chairs to sit at. They provide poop bags as well. We look forward to coming back to see there progress next year.

| Not recomended

Price far above what's advertised. WiFi unusable. Poor and dilapidated facilities. Folks attempting a turnaround but think odds are against them...

| Good Park

Prices did not match app then realized Passport america prices were list, told new owners and they were going to get it updated to be more clear. Very friendly family owned park. Wifi was decent. Laundry room, rec room, and bathrooms were clean. I have stayed here before and new owners are making huge changes for the better. GOOD JOB!

Nice little park! Very friendly staff. As always flush the water line before hooking up to it, had a little rust but that comes with carbon steel piping. Was clear after the flush. I use dual filters anyway. Internet is a little slow but better than none! Will stay here again! Passport America site! $19.00 a night for 30 amp FHU's.

If you're looking for a shady retreat in the woods, cross this one off your list, but if all you need is a decent overnight spot, that's what it is. To be frank, the park really only rates 3 stars, but IMO the new owners are at least 7-star, and they're fixing this run-down place fast and furiously. (It was noticeably better within our first two hours there!) RV PARKY TAKE NOTE: Park is now "Sun Valley RV Park" and price range (per the owner--I asked so I could report it here--is $24-$39. (I was told the old owner had had an old truck advertising $16 but had not offered that rate in years.) Looking forward to seeing this place in a few months or years.

We stayed at Sun Valley RV Resort and watched the New Owners and their family work very hard fixing and improving the park. Even their young grandkids were helping. We gave stayed here before and will definetly stay again. Please do not pay attention to people and reviews like the Lawrence's., some people are never happy.

| Refueling Stop

By user-5775612... on 2017-10-23.

Enroute to the Lake Havasu City Balloon Fest, we stopped here to prepare for 5 nights dry camping. Nice people, nice price $31.80, water, electric, and sewer. Stayed in site 14, right on old US66.

This is a good one or two night stay to go see the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest. Very nice people. FHU, GS discount, little gift shop for great priced petrified wood items..you can even buy by the pound. Easy on and off I-40. Level, gravel sites, a bit close but enough room to open awnings. Water and pressure were reasonable. All that said....this is a no frills stop. The only bathroom is in the office, the WiFi is non-existent, no Cable or Tv by antenna (doubful about satellite). There are no stores or gas anywhere around.

| Good but road noises

By user-5481851... on 2018-05-17.

Reasonable pricing on level gravel. Full hookup only drawback is highway noise Wayne 3/11/18

| Very nice

By user-6636973... on 2018-05-17. Stayed 2018-03-19 to 2018-03-20

This was obviously a family owned park and the owner was very friendly. Her grandchildren were helpful and polite. It was very refreshing. The park was located close to interstate and easy to access with level sites. They sold petrified wood which was fun! The owner was definitely trying to make a nice place to stay with a lovely common area for guest. Very reasonably priced.

| Nice little over night stop

By user-5096085... on 2018-05-17.

On our way from Pennsylvania to Kingman Arizona we stopped here for a night. Nice and easy to get to. While the park is older, the owners are doing a great job of restoration. My only complaint would be road noise but that's what you get for the convenience of close to the interstate. We may stay here again on our return trip home.

Dumpy CG but convenient to I40. Pricey as well.

Decided we would stay here for the night given info on the app indicated it had everything we would need. Was 6.07pm and office was closed - fair enough. Went to do self check in an saw cost was $42.42 for the night. Very misleading given app says $20-$31. Decided to go to KOA instead - their prices are usually accurate and we have always been happy with their RV parks. UPDATE YOUR PRICES

We've stopped here many times and got the passport America discount cost $15.. Now new owners, when I asked how much the man said $30. I said we have passport America he said okay regular price $60. This site says $42 . No improvements, dumpy and not a truthful owner, won't be stopping here again
