This is my first visit to this park and I traveled back and forth from Fl. To Pa. several times . The mountains are breath taking and I have looking for a place to feel at home for years. I think this area of NC and north Georgia is all one could ask for. The park itself is a beautiful mix of RV spots and Park models. I can't say enough good things about the couple who own and run Sundowner Park. I love to explore the countryside and find the out of the way places. Mrs. Tiffany, "Joyce" gave me a pile of suggestions of places to go, things to see and I know my days will be filled with memories.

After writing the one dog only comment below I contacted Sundowners about it and it has been changed!!!! Such nice people!
| A+ for the park and owners
Arrived late after dark because we got delayed in traffic in Chattanooga TN the owners were wonder helped us get parked in our space, Joyce even called us when we were late to check on us. We were there going to John Campbell festival. Park is very nice, well maintained, quite and close to Hiawassee Ga. where we visited a relative. beautiful area to visit we would defiantly stay there again.
