Called this afternoon (3-31-17) and made a reservation for the night. Gentleman I talked to said my receipt would be in the late checkin box. Drove past Avalon because the sign had no lighting and is hard to see in the dark. Pulled into the campgrounds and there was no office. Another camper told me the office is over at the Sunset Travel Park (2 miles away. The gentleman in the office neglected to say this). The camper I talked to said to just grab a spot for the night seeing how I had already paid. That's what I did.
It might help you to know that Sunset RV park and Avalon RV park are owned by same people and one is an overflow from the other. We were at Sunset which is a small section and near road. Very nice people but if you are a light sleeper you might ask for a spot further back from office. It didn't bother us.
Arrived after office closed. Picked our spot and put the money in the night drop. Spot was clean, level and with cable. WiFi was to week to connect to internet.
Good or overnight or short stay. Gravel pull through with concrete pads on each side. Over 30 spots available. Little road noise. When arrived, WiFi not active. Owner said he would get the technician to look at it - 10 minutes later it was on. Next morning, owner stopped by to ask if it was fixed. Would stay again.
