Reviews for Suwannee River Rendezvous

| Very nice updated park, cool springs

By user-6318512... on 2017-10-23.

We camped here and really liked it. Nice gravel sites, some with roofed arbors. Newer water, sewer, power, and cable hookups. Very nice baths and laundry. Resort style pool and 2 large hot tubs. Great access to Suwanee River (boat ramp) and Convict Spring. Delicious restaurant on site (weekends only and pet friendly).

Nice park, a lot of recent remodeling. Nice cook restaurant on weekend s. Built next to Convict Springs and Suwanee River. One nite we stayed, it was very cold and were unable to use facilities much.

I really liked this newly renovated campground. - friendly staff - showers & pool kept clean - very pet friendly with an outdoor pet wash facility & dog run - lots of entertainment on (I saw two live singers, but they also do bingo, karaoke, pigeon races etc ) - Right by the Suwannee River with their own spring. - The old / wooded section of the campground is extremely beautiful, lots of large trees and traditional camping facilities. - very reasonably priced at $175 for a pull through site per week. There is little to no cell signal for both T-Mobile or Verizon and the camp wifi isn't streaming capable on peak hours (I'm a late night person and could watch YouTube etc after midnight).

I am sure this campground is a bag of fun when it isn't downpouring for 3 days straight. The campsites are roomy and spacious with very easy pull through access. There are no trees for shading in the campsites so could be an issue during summer months. I will definitely stay again and hopefully get a full experience if our travels pass through the area again.

| Great Campground!

Excellent campground with mostly gravel sites with lots of grass and plantings between sites. My site was very level, and had a covered Picnic table and fire ring. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Very Dog Friendly cg with a very large Off Leash Park for the pooches. Large Playground, and an enormous spa (seats 22 persons) plus a smaller jacuzzi. Bathrooms were spotless. They have an onsite woodcarving artist and serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the lodge and host Karaoke nights, live music and bingo on weekends. Convict Springs was a welcome refresher on a hot summer day. The only downside was the road to the Kayak Launch.....it's in need of some work, but I still had a WONDERFUL Kayak trip! We had a group of over 30 RV's meeting here and the large Pavillion was a perfect spot for our Pot Luck Dinner, with lots of picnic tables and seating. I know a lot of our group will be coming back again! And of course spreading the word.

The owners are on hand and very friendly. The park is very pet friendly. There is even a dog wash station with a hair dryer. There are lots of activities and special events. I could write a book.

Wonderful campground with the friendliest owners we have met. Very pet friendly. The sites are plenty long enough for RV and toad. Bathrooms were spotless with nice showers. There is even a dog washing station provided to clean up your pet before returning to your RV. Food is very good at the lodge but only available Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Plenty of shade around the office area with picnic tables and seating. Also old fashioned lawn swings are positioned along the banks of the Suwannee River to sit and watch the river go by. Very peacful and relaxing. We have a new favorite destination!

Folks have covered most of the good things about this park in other reviews. We especially appreciate the HUGE dog park area (5 separate fenced areas now). If you can't find something fun to do in this park, I would wonder why. They have everything: FHU, TV, WiFi (though spotty when park is full or at peak times), laundry, pool, hot tubs, games, weekend entertainment, boating, fishing, cafe open on weekend, propane, etc. You have to overlook all of the sand, mosquitoes, and gnats; it is Florida, and it is warm. The park is within easy driving distance of many state parks and beaches on the Gulf Coast.

We booked the CG a few weeks back for an overnight stop. They said they didn't have any water/elec sites left. We arrived, checked in and arriving at our site found a very sloped site, no way to level. And half the he CG was empty, many nice level sites. So we had paid for a "premium" site, not sure what the story is. Also, dont drive a large size rig to the office! Park on the right just past pool etc. Handicapped, call the office, it's a hike.

| Great park and family friendly

This is our first time staying at Suwannee river rendezvous and we will be back. We really enjoyed swimming in the spring and the pool area. My son loved catching fish in the catch and release pond. And the desserts at grandma suzie’s were fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful as soon as we pulled in. Even for a holiday weekend, we expected it to be very crowded, but there was still plenty of space for everyone. The sites are level, nice and open and don’t make you feel like you are on top of another. The bathrooms and showers were clean as well.

Nice park, enjoyable, have been coming here for 6 years. BUT just raised rates to $45 plus taxes, price is now overrated for cable tv that looks like a snow blizzard, wi-fi that keeps dropping you off if you can get on in the first place. Owner a great guy.

We have stayed here before and we always look forward to returning. Very nice park with lots of activities for all. The swimming pool and spa are great. Each time we return we see additional improvements. Park is nicely landscaped with pull through sites. Many discounts available including Passport America, Good Sam, Military, etc. I find this park to be just as nice if not better than most of the KOA's we have stayed in. The only thing lacking is shade as the trees have not matured yet so there is minimal shade available.
