I'm thinking it's 5 stars but a few things make me give it 4 stars. There is mostly tent sites that are waterfront with no electricity. I understand some sites need to be available for tents only but they could have made some more for rv. we really enjoyed the beauty of this campground. a playground for the kids 2 beaches great areas for riding bicycles as well. the place is really clean. bathhouses could use some remodeling within a few years but wasn't as bad as we have seen before . we also enjoyed Canton nearby. we stayed here in a travel trailer and will return
Unless you want to be in the party sites you won't have a Lakeview. Spot 27 was 60 feet long impossible for my 36 foot with tow dolly or just the RV to turn out of. Lot 27 had no room to safely step out of RV. It would be okay for a big tent site. Personel at gate seemed totally confused and was going to close the gate at 7:30 PM. I asked about the advertised 10:30 PM closer, l was told they were not regular contractors who take care of the gate.
This is our favorite campground! Great sites, close to home, and great lakefront campsites!
